What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
Yeah I saw this on Chiller too. I asked Brian Collins on Twitter what was the deal with the annoying actresses and non horror peeps.
ReplyDeleteThat added more to the crapiness included with these picks.
The 2000 decade was a very odd time for horror, esp with the rise of Torture porn and revival of the found footage sub genre. It's an interesting list to say the least.
ReplyDelete@Jeff - Those actors and actresses annoyed the hell out of me. I wonder if they even were horror fans. I wouldn't be surprised if they were fed clips and then acted like they knew about them. I liked the Bravo one because you actually had horror icons and people who seemed as if they knew what they were talking about - because they actually saw the films!
ReplyDelete@ Daniel - The past decade wasn't really good for horror, I don't think. There were certainly good-to-great stuff out there, but this list just shows how inferior the decade was compared to previous decades. THE RING being number one pretty much proves my point.
I have to agree with you, think it's a far cry from the 80's and 70's
ReplyDeleteThat list should have been titled "The Most Mainstream Horror Films of the Past Decade"
ReplyDeleteCarl, I agree 100 percent.
ReplyDeleteThe only movie I have to agree with on this list is "The Strangers" cause that was a pretty creepy movie. Other then that nope.
